Player Progress Testing:
At Hollier Sports, we’re excited to introduce Player Progress Testing to help track your player’s development throughout the term. This testing will take place during Week 1 and Week 9 of the term (it will only be accessible during these weeks), and it’s a fantastic way to measure your player’s current abilities and set a benchmark for growth.
The Week 1 testing helps us set a benchmark for your player - a starting point from which we’ll build and track progress throughout the term. In Week 9, we’ll revisit these same activities to see how much your player has grown and how they’ve developed their skills. These results will be included in your player’s end-of-term report, so we can highlight their achievements and areas to focus on moving forward.
Why is the testing important?
It gives players, families and coaches valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.
It allows players to set goals and focus on their development.
It provides parents with clear feedback on their player’s progress.
Encourages consistency and work ethic for our players.
How it works:
Please complete the testing during Week 1 and Week 9 of the term. These are the key times to submit results for tracking progress.
Follow along with the step-by-step video, where Coach Dan explains each step. An on-screen timer will guide you through each exercise - just follow along!
The testing will only take 20 minutes.
Once completed, submit the results in the form below, and they will go straight into your player’s end of term progress report.
What you'll need:
A football
Open space (indoors or outdoors)
Pen and paper (or download and print the PDF to record results)
We encourage families to be involved — your support and encouragement make a huge difference to your player’s development. Consistency at home is key to building confidence, improving their skills and laying the foundations for their entire football journey.
Thank you for your involvement, and we look forward to seeing your player’s growth throughout the term!
