AT HOME TRAINING PROGRAM

Ready to take your player’s skills to the next level? Our 10 week at-home training program focuses on ball control, confidence, and building self-discipline through simple, yet effective drills. While it may not always be flashy, the key to improvement is consistency and purpose—and this program is designed to help players develop those habits. The best part? With just a ball, cones, and a mini goal, players can train anytime, anywhere. Get involved, and let’s build the foundation for your player’s success both on and off the field.

  • At Hollier Sports, we believe that consistency and purposeful practice are the cornerstones of developing great footballers. While this at-home training program may not have flashy drills or complicated routines, it is built on the foundational principles that players need to succeed: ball mastery, control, and building self-discipline.

We strongly encourage our players to commit to training at least 5 times per week, because the truth is, repetition and dedication are what lead to long-term improvement. The benefits of daily training extend beyond just skill improvement—it builds confidence, self-drive, and the mental toughness required to overcome challenges in games and life.

  • When you look at the training habits of youth footballers overseas, it’s clear that consistency is a key factor in their success. For instance, players in countries like Germany, Spain, and Brazil typically train for 8-12 hours per week, often starting their development at a younger age. In contrast, youth players in Australia typically train for around 3-4 hours per week, which can impact their overall development and readiness to compete at higher levels.

This difference is why we emphasise the importance of daily practice, even if it’s just 20-30 minutes a day. The more time a player spends working on their skills, the faster they’ll improve.

  • This at-home training program is designed to be simple, yet purposeful. Every drill, every activity, is built with a specific goal in mind: to improve ball control, develop confidence, and build consistency. It may not be flashy, but these foundational skills are the key to becoming a great player. The goal is not just to get better at football but to develop habits of self-discipline and self-motivation that will serve players both on and off the field.

By practicing regularly, players will see continuous improvement in their abilities. They’ll learn that success in football—and in life—isn’t just about talent, but about consistent effort, intensity, and purpose. These attributes will help them stay dedicated and focused throughout their journey.

  • While we provide the structure and guidance for the training, parental involvement is a critical part of the process. When parents engage in their child’s development—whether it’s setting up the drills, cheering them on, or simply being present—it has a massive impact on the child’s motivation and success. Active participation shows players that their training is important, that their parents are invested in their growth, and that they have the support needed to push through challenges.

When parents are involved, it encourages players to stay committed to their training, take responsibility for their progress, and ultimately, helps them feel more confident and supported as they develop their skills.
