Our School Holiday Football Program is a fun and engaging way for boys and girls aged 5-12 to spend their school break with football at the centre - without it feeling like "training". Each day is filled with games, challenges, and activities designed to keep players active, smiling, and developing their skills in a relaxed and positive environment.

Players are grouped into levels based on age and experience, so everyone feels comfortable and gets the right kind of challenge. Led by our experienced Hollier Sports coaches, the focus is always on enjoying the game, growing confidence, and learning through play.

Whether your player is trying football for the first time or already loves the game, this program gives them the chance to stay active, make new friends, and have a great time with football over the holidays.

WHO WOULD THIS PROGRAM SUIT?

This Holiday Program is open to players of all skill levels. Players are grouped into three class levels based on age, experience, and confidence:

Beginner (Yellow): around ages 5-8
Intermediate (Green): around ages 8-10
Advanced (Blue): around ages 10-12

These age ranges are a guide only - Please place your player in the class where they’ll feel most comfortable and get the most out of the program. If you are unsure get in touch so we can help!

Coaching Style

Our Holiday Programs are coached the Hollier Sports way - positive, supportive, and player-focused. Sessions are designed to feel fun and relaxed, while still giving players the chance to learn, improve, and challenge themselves in the right way. Our coaches focus on encouraging effort, confidence, and enjoyment. Players are supported to try new things, make mistakes, and learn through play, without pressure or fear of getting it wrong. Coaching is hands-on, encouraging, and tailored to the group, with plenty of feedback and interaction throughout the session. Most importantly, we aim to create an environment where all our players feel comfortable, included, and excited to be there - so they can enjoy football, grow in confidence, and finish each day feeling good about themselves.

Methodology

Our Holiday Program is built around football fundamentals, with one clear football focus each day. This helps players stay engaged, understand what they’re working on, and build skills in a simple, enjoyable way. Within each class, activities are structured around the needs of the group and the intended learning outcomes for that day. Sessions are adjusted to suit the age, experience, and confidence of the players, ensuring everyone is supported and challenged appropriately. The learning outcomes and session structure align closely with our Hollier Sports Development Pathways for each class level - just delivered and adjusted in a fun, holiday-style environment.

Expected Outcomes

By the end of the Holiday Program, players can expect to: Feel more confident and comfortable with the ballImprove their understanding of key football fundamentals appropriate to their age. Build confidence through positive experiences and encouragement. Enjoy football in a fun, supportive environment. Make new friends and feel connected within their group.

Progression - Where to From Here

Based on age, experience, and confidence, players can take a step up into our Development Pathway: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Development Classes, where they can continue building their skills in a structured, long-term environment. Our coaches are always happy to chat with families and help recommend the most suitable next step for each player.
