HOLLIER SPORTS TERMS OF SERVICE
Hollier Sports
Last updated: 23 November 2026
About These Terms
These Terms of Service set out the agreement between Hollier Sports and the families who enrol with us. They apply to every program we run, and they work together with the policies listed at the end, which form part of these terms.
When you enrol a child in a Hollier Sports program, you're agreeing to these terms on behalf of yourself and your child, so please read them. If there's anything you're not sure about, contact us before you enrol and we'll talk it through.
Who We Are
Hollier Sports (ABN 47 635 588 886) is a youth football development business based in Canberra, at 25 Beauchamp Street, Deakin ACT 2600. You can reach us any time at hello@holliersports.com.
We run development classes, after-school programs, holiday programs, community sessions, and an invitation-based Academy, for children across our 5 to 15 age range. We develop great players and good people, and keeping your child safe while we do it comes before everything else.
Enrolling and Keeping Your Details Current
You enrol through our website, and your child's place is confirmed once enrolment is complete and payment has been received. When you enrol, please give us accurate and complete information, including your contact details, your child's medical information, and who is authorised to collect your child. Keep it current, and tell us promptly if anything changes, especially a new medical condition, a change of contact number, or a change to who can collect your child. We rely on this information to look after your child well.
Fees and Payment
Fees are payable before the relevant program or sessions begin, unless we've agreed something different with you in writing. We'll issue a tax invoice on request, so just ask if you need one for your records.
Program Changes, Weather and Cancellations
We may change, reschedule, relocate or cancel a session or program where we need to, including for weather, safety, venue availability, or low enrolment. On wet or uncertain days, please bring your child to the venue as normal unless we've told you otherwise. We make the final call on the day and let you know as early as we can through email and our usual channels.
Where we cancel a session, we'll offer a make-up session or a credit, and sometimes we'll extend a program to make up disrupted hours. How refunds, credits and cancellations work, including notice periods, withdrawals, and our holiday program, is set out in full in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What We Expect of Players and Families
Taking part in a Hollier Sports program comes with some simple expectations, about being ready to play, treating people and places with respect, and communicating with us. These are set out in our Standard Program Expectations, including the gear your child needs for each program.
How we guide behaviour in sessions, where our safety line sits, and what you'll hear from us if something needs raising, is set out in our Behaviour Management Plan. Where a child needs a more tailored approach, we work with the family on an Individualised Soccer Support Plan. If a child is ever removed from a program, it's always a last resort and never the first response, and how any fees are handled in that situation is covered in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations policy.
Health, Medical and Safety
The safety and wellbeing of your child is our highest priority. Our coaches hold a current first aid qualification for education and care settings, every session has a stocked first aid kit and instant cold packs on site, and we manage risk carefully at our venues.
How we look after players with medical conditions, allergies and medication is set out in our Medical, Allergy and Medication Policy. How we handle head knocks is set out in our Concussion and Head Injury Policy. How we respond when something goes wrong, including a missing child or a medical emergency, is set out in our Incident Management Policy.
If your child is ever seriously injured or unsafe in our care, we will act first to keep them safe, call an ambulance if it's needed, and contact you as soon as we can. By enrolling, you authorise our staff to arrange appropriate first aid for your child and to call an ambulance if it's needed and you can't be reached. Any ambulance or medical costs are the family's responsibility, so we'd encourage you to check your ambulance cover.
Risk and Liability
Football is a physical activity, and like any sport it carries some risk of injury. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that taking part involves the ordinary risks that come with physical activity and contact sport, including strains, sprains, knocks and falls, and less commonly more serious injury.
We take that seriously and we work to manage it. Our coaches hold current first aid qualifications and Working with Vulnerable People registration, we run sessions with appropriate supervision and equipment, we assess and manage risks at our venues, and we hold public liability insurance.
Acknowledging the ordinary risks of the sport does not remove our responsibility to take reasonable care of your child, and we don't ask you to sign that responsibility away. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or limits any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees that apply to our services. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Collecting Your Child
Children must be collected on time, and we'll only release your child to you or to someone you've authorised. How collection works, including late collection and the fees that apply to our after-school programs, is set out in our Late Pick-Up and Collection policy.
Photos and Media
We take photos and short video in sessions to celebrate our players and show families what we're about. How we use them, and how you control whether your child appears, is set out in our Photo and Media Consent.
Privacy
We handle your family's personal information, including your child's health information, with care. How we collect, use, store and protect it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Child Safety
We follow the ACT Child Safe Standards, and our commitment to keeping every child safe, what we expect of our coaches, and how we respond to and report concerns is set out in our Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct.
Feedback and complaints
We want to hear from you, the good and the not-so-good, and we treat every concern respectfully. How to share feedback or raise a complaint, and what happens when you do, is set out in our Feedback and Complaints page.
Our Materials
Our coaching materials, session content, branding, and the content on our website and platforms belong to Hollier Sports. You're welcome to use them as part of taking part in our programs, but please don't copy, reproduce or share them for other purposes without our permission.
Changes To These Terms
We update these terms from time to time as our programs grow and the law changes. The current version always lives on our website, and the date at the top tells you when it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we'll let families know through our usual channels.
The Policies That Form Part Of These Terms
These Terms of Service incorporate the following, and by enrolling you agree to all of them:
You'll find all of them in one place on our Policies and Important Information page.
